Over the past six weeks, we have seen interest rates trending down, favoring buyers. Activity has spiked, buyers who sat on the sidelines for months are suddenly back in the market, ready to re-engage.
However, here’s the challenge: just because buyers are looking again doesn’t mean they’re acting quickly. Many are still hesitating, waiting for the “perfect” moment, or holding out for lower rates.
That’s where we, as agents, need to step in. And that’s why I brought in my friend and colleague Kimber Walton, our regional tech trainer and AI Academy leader, to share how today’s technology is helping us create buyer urgency without adding stress or hours of extra work.
Everything we do for agents is filtered through technology. We’re not AI because it’s flashy, but because it saves time and creates efficiency.
In the past, if you wanted to build urgency with your buyers, you’d brainstorm a post, draft some messaging, maybe design a graphic, and then push it out to your audience. By the time you finished, hours had passed. In 2025, AI changes that.
With the right prompts, you can have a branded social post, a clear hook, and even an entire landing page built in just a few minutes. That means more time for conversations and follow-ups, and less time stuck behind a screen.
Meeting buyers where they are. Today’s consumers want control, researching on their own, reading through resources, and making informed decisions without feeling pressured. If we don’t give them that option, they’ll find it elsewhere.
That’s where AI-generated landing pages come in. Kimber showed me how tools like Gamma can build a professional-looking site instantly. Imagine clicking a button and, right in front of a client, showing them a space where they can explore information on rates, affordability, and the benefits of acting now. That kind of experience captures attention and builds urgency in a way that feels empowering, not pushy.
Prompts matter, but you don’t need to master them. One of the biggest roadblocks for agents using AI is prompts. At first, many of us treated AI like Google, typing in fragmented searches and hoping it would “read our mind.” That doesn’t work. AI needs context. The more you feed it, the better the results.
At Keller Williams, you don’t need to become a prompt engineer. Kimber and I have done the work for you. We’ve built models, prompts, and templates you can plug in and use right away. That way, you skip the learning curve and jump straight to results: urgency messaging, landing pages, and follow-up systems that get buyers off the fence.
Grounding it in proven models. All of these line up with the training we already know works. If you’ve read the Shift book, you know tactic number nine is all about creating buyer urgency.
What Kimber is showing us is how to take those same principles: urgency, clarity, follow-up, and layer AI on top to make the process faster and easier.
We are not reinventing the wheel, but keeping the wheel spinning with less effort.
Why does this matter right now? I know every one of you has buyers in your pipeline who need to make a move. Maybe their lease is ending, maybe they’re losing out on homes, or maybe they’re just waiting for rates to fall further. If we don’t give them a clear reason to act now, they’ll keep waiting and possibly miss the opportunity.
AI gives us a way to deliver that clarity quickly, in our own voice, and with systems that stick.
That’s why I’m so excited for Kimber’s upcoming class on October 15 at the Keller Williams Utah Market Center in Midvale, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. She’ll be walking you through:
- How to use Gamma to build an instant landing page
- How to pair your own brand voice with AI-generated content
- How to use Keller Williams’ provided prompts to simplify your workflow
- How to turn urgency messaging into action with buyers you haven’t met yet (and those already in your pipeline)
You’ll leave with tools you can put to work immediately, not just theory.
In today’s market, we don’t have time to let buyers wait themselves out of a deal. The agents who learn how to use AI to create urgency will be the ones closing more homes, more often.
